Hello, Bugs! (Black and White Sparklers) by Smriti Prasadam

Hello, Bugs! (Black and White Sparklers) by Smriti Prasadam is We have LOOK LOOK! and our baby (2 months old) loves it, she will stare at the pages for up to 30 minutes. I ordered this book to give some variety. This seems to be like the next step up after the LOOK LOOK! book. LOOK LOOK! has patterned pages that are all black and white, this one has different bugs on each page that are mostly black and white with one bright and shiny spot. I think it will keep my baby entertained just as well or better than the other book.I love that it's a board book that can be stood up so the baby can look at it while laying down. I set it up on the edge of the play gym where she has lots of toys to look at but she usually ends up staring at her black/white books. It's about 6" square with 5 pages (10 bugs).

Hello, Bugs! (Black and White Sparklers) by Smriti Prasadam is My son is 10 months old. And I have been reading this to him for about 9 months now. I’ll usually pull it out several times a week. He enjoys it. To kill the monotony, I’ll usually point out the colors, or mimic with my fingers on his legs the worded sounds. For instance, when I read “buzz buzz”, I’ll pinch his somewhere on his leg and jiggle my fingers as I do. He will giggle or crack a smile. It’s a way for me to bring in some medium of aesthetics to the reading out loud experience.

Hello, Bugs! (Black and White Sparklers) by Smriti Prasadam is I am pregnant with my 3rd baby. We purchased a couple black and white books last pregnancy and again this time. Our kids LOVE them! We bought this Hello Bugs, along with Hello Animals!. Both are Super cute and we are excited for baby to see them in a couple weeks. When I opened them up, the binding on the last page of Hello, Bugs! Was torn away from the other pages. I requested a replacement to be sent.Like I said, we LOVEEE high contrast books, we have I think 5 or 6 now! But sad it was damaged when it arrived. I will update my review when/if I receive an undamaged copy of the book!-Kristy Jo!Update:I was contacted very shortly after and they sent out another copy straight away! Excellent customer service, I received it in a couple days in great condition!!!These books are must haves for babies!!!

Hello, Bugs! (Black and White Sparklers) by Smriti Prasadam is Don't get me wrong, my baby likes both books. But this one really captures his attention for some reason. He especially likes gently stroking the page with the dragonfly (since 4 months--he's 8 months now) and when I make the buzzing and zuzzing noises. I liked it so much I gave it as a shower gift recently.
