Sesame Street - My First Library Board Book Block 12-Book Set - PI Kids by Editors of Phoenix International Publications is 12 fun board book for any child who loves Sesame Street!Size- I love mini board books because we can bring them anywhere with us. We bought this for our daughter when she was 1 year and 3 months old. She loved the books and the little box/case it came in.Durability: The case is a simple cardboard box. She literally destroyed it in one week. The books are a bit more durable. We’ve had this set for over a year and for MOST of the books the binding is still intact. This is impressive because she’s used them a LOT.Concepts in the books: We have MULTIPLE mini board books and I would say content wise this is just average. Mini board books are great for 1 year old and at this age I find that books with very few words (1-2) and pictures work the best. Some pages are more wordy and the concept just gets blurred out. My daughter is now two and does not grab these books as much. She prefers stories with a beginning, middle, and end.Overall: I think this is a great set for a 1 year old, especially if they like sesame street. They will love finding the characters and even if they don’t get all the concepts they will like holding it in their hand and flipping it. Lastly my 7 month old loves to eat these books.. They seem to be delicious and great for teething.
Sesame Street - My First Library Board Book Block 12-Book Set - PI Kids by Editors of Phoenix International Publications is I'm so happy I bought these, they have actually increased my 13month old's interest in books! She loves the short hbo Sesame Street shows and so these books definitely drew her interest. She likes the way they stack in their box and their perfect hand held size. She will sit and "read" them to herself, pointing at the pictures and often bringing them for me to read to her. My only complaint with them is that most of the books' content is a bit underwhelming. I also was bummed to see that the illustrations look different book to book. In my attached picture you'll see that the top one looks very authentic while the bottom book doesn't at all. Altogether though I'm happy with the set!

I left one in the play yard with my one year old for no than 5 minutes and when I came in to check on her she had eaten a HUGE chunk out of the book! I was so worried I actually ended up calling poison control because she ingested so much of it. I couldn’t believe how quickly they fell apart in a mouth with only 4 teeth. Maybe it was my fault for leaving her alone with it, but my daughter has plenty of board books she’s chewed on without so much as denting, so I didn’t think this would be possible. I ended up giving the rest of mySet the my 3 year old, and he does enjoy them. Just exercise caution when considering giving these books to a teething toddler.
Sesame Street - My First Library Board Book Block 12-Book Set - PI Kids by Editors of Phoenix International Publications is These were a Christmas present for my daughter and she loves them! Shes a big sesame street fan and an even bigger fan of making messes. So this set perfectly combines both of her passions. They should seriously install tracking devices on each book through because I cant remember the last time we had all 12 books together. Great set, will definitely buy other themed sets in the future. Great for really young toddlers but would also be great for those early stages of reading since each page only contains a few words.
